 Naeem Inayatullah (Politics) attended the annual meeting of the International Studies Association-North East, Providence, Rhode Island, November 6-7, where he participated in four panels/events:  

  • “Yes, International Relations Theory Sucks at Methodology and this is a Good thing,” for the roundtable, IR Sucks at Methodology: Discuss;
  • “Howard School Exceptionalism?” for the roundtable, Author Meets Critics: Robert Vitalis’ White World Order, Black Power (2015) ;
  •  “Structural Failures: How do I do What I do?” presenter and mentor for the all day Methods Workshop;  and, 
  •  “Translation, Travel, and the Desire to be Dominated,” for the roundtableReflecting on the Potential for Transnational Solidarity.
