Paul Wilson recently presented a paper at the Society for Utopian Studies conference in Pittsburgh.  His paper, “Reimagining the Zambian Afronaut in Contemporary Art,” examined a 2012 photobook and exhibition by the Spanish photographer Cristina de Middel and a 2014 short film by the Ghanaian filmmaker Frances Bodomo about the Zambian space program of the 1960s.

Paul Wilson is assistant professor of contemporary art and museum studies in the Art History department.
