Cops, Kids & Toys Accepting Donations and Assisting Those in NeedContributed by Crystal Young on 11/19/15
Cops, Kids & Toys collects, purchases and distributes toys and gifts to financially disadvantaged children in Tompkins County. The program started in the early 1980's with two Ithaca City Police officers helping out a few children. It is currently supported with volunteers from every law enforcmeent agency in Tompkins County, the Tompkins County Probation Department and many volunteers. If you need assistance, you may fill out an application at the Office of Public Safety, or email cyoung@ithaca.edu, or visit www.copskidsandtoys.org for more information and download the application. Please stop by the Office of Public Safety and Emergency Management if you would like to donate a new, unwrapped toy. We will also be in the Campus Center November 30 through December 4 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. collecting gifts. Monetary donations are accepted and checks should be made out to Cops, Kids and Toys Inc. Thank you!
