Leadership Weekend is a two-day retreat that brings together students from a variety of roles on campus to learn from each other and discover new ways to demonstrate leadership. Participants attend a series of leadership development sessions that focus on team-building and further developing individual leadership skills and understandings.

This is also an opportunity to earn 3 Leading Self credits for the Student Leadership Institute (SLI)!

Who is this retreat for?

All Ithaca College first-year students are eligible to apply and highly encouraged to do so. This retreat is designed to encourage emerging leaders to discuss their own thoughts on leadership, to connect with other student leaders, and to further their involvement at Ithaca College.

Why should I attend?

Many past participants have expressed how much they learned and gained through their participation in Leadership Weekend.

What are the logistics of this event?

Leadership Weekend will be held February 12-13, 2016. Leadership Weekend is held off campus at a retreat center. Lodging, meals, transportation and retreat materials are provided for all attendees. Leadership Weekend begins on Friday afternoon and concludes on Saturday evening. All participants must travel with the group and must attend the program in its entirety.

How do I know if I've been selected to attend?

Following the selection process, all applicants will be notified by e-mail of their application status.

Applications must be submitted by December 31st.
