Dr. Donathan Brown, assistant professor of Communication Studies and former H&S diversity fellow, has been asked to deliver another keynote address abroad, this time in Bangkok, Thailand.  The address, titled "The Global Diversity Crisis: Challenges and Expectations, will be given at the Third International Conference on Language, Literature, and Society.   

Dr. Brown's address will focus on the rhetorical and political crisis surrounding immigrants, immigration, and refugees with specificity toward proposed policy solutions uttered by American and European office holders and seekers.

This conference will bring together academics from 23 countries to discuss issues ranging from gender, race, religion, amongst many other topics and themes.   As international dialogue on these issues increases, Dr. Brown is rapidly emerging as a leading U.S. voice on race, immigration, and public policy.
