Brian Scholten, Ithaca College Registrar, has been named Registrar at New College of Florida in Sarasota, Florida. New College of Florida is one of the nation’s premier public liberal arts institutions. Many thanks to Brian for his work since coming to Ithaca College as Registrar in 2009. During his tenure at IC, Brian has overseen moving from a print to an electronic academic catalog, implemented the student preferred first name policy, shepherded the move of the Office of the Registrar from Job Hall to PRW, and chaired the academic calendar committee. He has also presented regularly at the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers conference. Brian’s last day at Ithaca College will be March 16th. Congratulations and best wishes to Brian as he starts this next phase of his career! |
