Ithaca College

The staff confidence vote that was initiated on 12/17/15 was officially closed on 1/15/16.  A total of 705 staff members were invited to participate in the vote, 407 of whom  participated (58% response rate).  In response to the question “Do you have confidence in Tom Rochon as the President of Ithaca College” 33% of respondents selected “Yes”, 48% selected “No”, and 19% selected “Abstain.”

In light of President Rochon’s retirement announcement, we are committed to working with all constituencies to foster a more welcoming, respectful, and inclusive community at Ithaca College.  Beginning in February, Staff Council will be hosting a series of town hall meetings open to all staff members at Ithaca College.  A finalized meeting schedule and list of topics will be announced via intercom no later than 1/22/15.
