Early Return Due to Winter Storm

Contributed by Barth Myers on 01/20/16

As you may be aware there is a big winter storm predicted to hit the East Coast on Saturday, January 23, 2016. While this storm is not anticipated to produce much snow in Ithaca, we have many students and families who live in areas that might receive a significant amount of snow and/or experience blizzard like conditions. As a result we are inviting students who will be impacted by this winter storm to return early to campus.

Students who lived on campus this fall and need to return early should register their need to return early by completing the Winter Break Registration Form (https://aecmws.ithaca.edu/wf/). Students who will be returning to their fall assignment can go directly to their rooms. Students who are moving to a new location for the spring should go to their area office to pick-up their keys and check-in to their spring assignment.

Students who need to arrive early and did not live on-campus this fall can register their need by submitting an Early Arrival Request form (https://aecmws.ithaca.edu/wf/). Students who did not live on campus this fall will need to go to their area office to pick-up keys and check-in.

In order to support students who need to return early, the Terrace Dining Hall will be opened, providing a limited menu, beginning Friday at noon. For more information about available Dining Hall Hours go to the Dining Services website.

If you have any questions regarding this information please contact the Office of Residential Life at 607-274-3141.
