Ithaca College Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program will offer free tax return preparation on campus beginning February 1, 2016.
The VITA program offers free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities, and the elderly who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.
Ithaca College VITA hours of operation:
Monday 4:00 – 8:00 PM (by appointment only),
Wednesday 12:00 – 3:00 PM (by appointment only),
Thursday 5:30 – 8:00 PM (by appointment only), and we will offer tax return preparation on one Saturday - February 27 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (no appointment needed).
