If you are a WGS minor and you happen to speak Spanish, you can still sign up for SPAN 491: Cuerpo/Espacio: El cuerpo y el espacio que habitamos - 43311. This course can also count for Spanish major/minor credit. 

The goal of this 3-credit seminar is to examine how contemporary Spanish writers represent and explore the human body; to interrogate concepts such as gender, sexuality, beauty, monstrosity and disease; and to think about how bodies inhabit space, both figuratively and literally. We will approach the human body as a product of cultural and historical inscriptions.
