Digital Instruction and Information Services (DIIS) encourages all guardians of Ithaca College Apple computers to be aware that there are known issues with older versions of Microsoft Office ( <14.5.6) and the latest Mac OS El Capitan (Version 10.11). If you have upgraded your Apple computer to the latest Mac OS El Capitan, please make sure you have upgraded your Microsoft Office to the latest version (14.5.9). Any new Apple computer installed by DIIS with the new Mac OS El Capitan will already have the latest version of the Microsoft Office and we would encourage everyone to accept any updates or patches for Microsoft Office as prompted by your computer. Please contact the Service Desk, 4-1000 or servicedesk@ithaca.edu, if you have any questions regarding the versions of either your Apple Mac OS or Microsoft Office. |
