Women's and Gender Studies presents Lenelle Moïse SPEAKING INTERSECTIONS on February 10, 7:30 pm in Nabenhaur Recital Hall (Whalen 4308)Contributed by Carla Golden on 02/07/16 SPEAKING INTERSECTIONS is a dynamic reading of black feminist queer immigrant literature. Speaking truth to power, Haitian-American theatre artist (and alumna, class of '02) Lenelle Moïse performs original poems, essays and monologues to illuminate the intersection of race, class, gender, spirit and sexuality. Performance is on Wednesday, February 10th at 7:30 pm in the Nabenhaur Recital Hall (Room 4308) on the 4th floor of the Whalen School of Music. Lenelle will also be doing a Q & A session at the noon hour on February 9th (12:10-1:00 pm) in Dillingham, McCarroll Studio #2. This event is co-sponsored by the Center for LGBT Education, Outreach, & Services; the Department of Theatre Arts; the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity; and the Department of English.
