One Billion Rising is a global initiative to end violence against women. On February 14, people from around the world will be rising up and speaking out against the abuses that women face on a daily basis. Here at Ithaca College, we will be gathering together in the Fitness Center from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM. There will be guest speakers and a flash mob dance that we will all learn and perform at the same time as millions of people around the world. Individuals with disabilities requiring accommodations should contact IC China Care Club at ic.halfthesky@ithaca.edu. We ask that requests for accommodations be made as soon as possible. |
