René Esparza, a doctoral candidate in American Studies at the University of Minnesota, will give a talk titled PLAY IT SAFE!  Anti-violence gay activism, racialized criminality, and the spatial politics of homonormativity.  

The talk will be on Monday, February 22nd, from 3-4 pm in the Handwerker Gallery.  

René Esparza is a candidate for the 2016-2017 Dissertation Diversity Fellowship in Women's and Gender Studies at Ithaca College.
