Stephen Tropiano serves as judge for Television AcademyContributed by Jackie Paul on 02/17/16 Stephen Tropiano is serving as a judge for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for the College Television Awards and Academy Honors. Tropiano judged entries in the drama competition for the 37th College Television Awards, a nationwide competition that awards over sixty-five trophies in multiple categories. Designed to emulate the Emmys, entries are reviewed by active Television Academy members in a three-round judging process. The awards will be given out in a ceremony held in Los Angeles in April. Tropiano has also been invited to serve as a judge for the 9th Annual Television Academy Honors, which celebrates and recognizes programming that creates awareness, enlightens, educates and/or positively motivates audiences. Established in 2008, this prestigious award is separate and distinct from Emmy's recognition of television excellence. |
