Ithaca College

 Elijah Breton (Sports Studies and Communication Studies, 2016) finished in first place in the prose interpretation event at Emerson College's Rose Invitational Speech Tournament on February 21.  

Charlie Vaca (Accounting, 2017) finished in third place in the Lincoln Douglas debate part of the competition.  Elijah and Charlie were two of ten students that attended the tournament.  Other IC participants included; Alice Blehart (TVR Media Production, 2016), Kwame Acheampong (Communication Studies, 2016), Shannah Sacco (Politics, 2017), Jose Escano (Legal Studies, 2016), Shelby Johnston (Biochemistry, 2019), Jamina Abillar (Writing and Communication Studies, 2016), Zach Lisien (Culture and Communication, 2017). Later this spring the Speech and Debate Team will host the North American Universities Debate Championship at Ithaca College.
