On Saturday, May 21, and Sunday, May 22, 2016, Ithaca College will hold its 121st Commencement Weekend activities. To ensure a smooth Commencement Ceremony and a positive experience for our graduates and their families and friends, we need your assistance. There are many important roles to fill Commencement Weekend, which are described below. Most Commencement Day staff will be asked to arrive on campus on Sunday, May 22 at 6:30 am for a pre-event briefing (a light continental breakfast will be provided). Most staff will be asked to stay until one hour after the close of the Commencement Ceremony (approximately 12:30 – 1:00 pm). Staff may join the graduates at the academic receptions for light lunch fare. Non-exempt/hourly employees who assist in this event will be paid time and a half based on a 37.5 hr. work week. Your help is very much needed and appreciated! We would really appreciate your assistance and encourage you to participate in this important weekend of activities.
