Ithaca College

 A tribute CD to Ithaca College composer Dana Wilson has recently been released. 

This recording contains many of Wilson's compositions featuring the saxophone as performed by Ithaca College School of Music faculty and students. Performers on this CD are Steven Mauk (saxophones), Diane Birr (piano), Pablo Cohen (guitar), Kim Dunnick (trumpet), Stephen Peterson (conductor), Elizabeth Simkin (cello), Gordon Stout (percussion), Nicholas Walker (double bass), the Empire Saxophone Quartet, and the Ithaca College Wind Ensemble. The CD is available from the composer or soon on many download sites, such as iTunes and CD Baby.

The recording serves as a tribute to Wilson's many years of dedicated service to the College, School, and his profession in this his final year at IC. There will also be a tribute concert featuring his music on Monday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall as part of the After Dinner Mint Faculty Showcase Concert Series.
