Are you a senior (graduating in May or December) who has taken at least two art/photo classes?  If you are, that means you're eligible to submit work to the 2016 Senior Art Show!

Deadline for submissions is 5pm on Monday, March 21st!

This is the Monday we get back from Spring Break. For special circumstances (deadline extension, etc...) email student curators Gabriella Jorio (gjorio1@ithaca.edu) and Eleanore Kohorn (ekohorn@ithaca.edu).

  • Submissions to the Department of Art can be dropped off with Denise Vanderburgh in Cerrache (Department of Art).
  • Submissions to the Department of CPMH can be submitted to Janice Levy on a flash drive (please do not email). There will be a box outside of her office. You can submit 1-4 images of work (JPG, 300 dpi, 10 inches on longest side). Submissions to both departments need an MS Word document with a short artist statement, label information, and your intent to display for each work.

Help us spread the word and let your creative friends know! The Senior Show will be on view from April 28 (the opening reception) - May 22 (commencement) which means your family and graduation visitors will also get to see your work on view at the gallery before the show comes down!

Participating in the senior exhibition is a fantastic way to explore the creative work you’ve been doing during your college career. It is also a way to be in the same space with your peers. The opening reception for the senior show is one of our most attended events at the Handwerker Gallery and we would be so proud to display your hard work.

We hope you plan to submit! If you'd like to get a digital copy of the application or have questions about the process, please email student curators Gabriella Jorio (gjorio1@ithaca.edu) and Eleanore Kohorn (ekohorn@ithaca.edu)
