Serving on the committee are: On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I would like to thank the Executive Committees of the Faculty Council and Staff Council, and Executive Board of the Student Government Association, for the thought and care that went into their selections of nominees from their constituencies. They delivered excellent candidates who represent the very best ideals of the college, and we are grateful for their collaboration. Brief biographical notes on each of the committee members have been posted to the presidential search website. The board is currently in the process of interviewing its final choices for the search firm that will guide our process, and we expect to announce our decision in the very near future. Once we have the firm in place, they will help us shape the remainder of the process, including how and when the search committee will collect input from our on-campus and off-campus communities. We look forward to sharing additional details with you soon. In the meantime, we hope that you will join us in thanking the members of the presidential search committee for their willingness to serve the Ithaca College community in such a deeply important role. Sincerely,

I find it quite surprising that there is no real representation from the music school in this search. Christy Agnese, while functionally competent and a great person, is thoroughly inadequate as the sole voice from the founding school of this institution. This oversight is inexcusable and illogical.
