Diversity and Inclusion Webinar Series “The (R)evolution of the Transgender Workplace Inclusion Conversation” on March 24thContributed by Michelle Rios-Dominguez on 03/20/16 About the Webinar: The current narrative with regard to the workplace issues of transgender and gender non-conforming individuals has tended to focus on the events and preparations leading up to the time of transition itself. This lively and engaging session evolves the conversation beyond this stage and covers an area that up to now has not been discussed—the post-transition (and beyond) story. A major international voice in the workplace equality movement for transgender and gender non-conforming individuals, the presenter throws open the shutters of this darkened room and casts a bright light on the pertinent issues that diversity & inclusion and human resource professionals need to know to successfully transform their workplaces into a truly welcoming environment for ALL of their employees. About the Presenter: Stephanie Battaglino: As the founder and owner of Follow Your Heart, LLC Stephanie is an internationally recognized speaker, workshop presenter and trainer, focused on creating transgender inclusive workplaces. She currently sits on the Boards of the following organizations: PFLAG National, the LGBT Community Center of New York and the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund (TLDEF). She is also a member of the Transgender Advisory Committee of Out & Equal Workplace Advocates. A Corporate Vice President at a major New York-based financial services company, Stephanie has 35 years of corporate experience in marketing and communications. She has a BA in Communication from the University of Delaware and an MBA in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is a graduate of the prestigious UCLA Anderson School of Management’s LGBT Leadership Institute.
