Ithaca College's baseball, softball, men's lacrosse, women's lacrosse, and men's and women's crew teams are home for big competitions this week. The spring sports season is in full swing, with Ithaca College hosting several competitions on and around campus this week. The Bomber softball team welcomes the University of Rochester to campus for a doubleheader at 3 p.m. Wednesday, while the baseball team hosts Oneonta State at 4 p.m. Wednesday. Riding a five-game winning streak, the men's lacrosse team hosts rival SUNY Cortland for a prime time showdown at 7 p.m. Wednesday night at Higgins Stadium. The game is part of the #ShedtheRed campaign, where students are encouraged to bring in a red article of clothing and swap it out for a blue Bombers t-shirt. All donations will go to the Ithaca Rescue Misson. The women's lacrosse team puts its four-game winning streak on the line Thursday when SUNY Geneseo comes to Higgins Stadium for a 7 p.m. clash. On Saturday, the men's and women's crew teams host the University of Rochester and Rochester Institute of Technology beginning at 11 a.m. at the Cayuga Inlet. Men's lacrosse is also home for a 12 p.m. Empire 8 clash against Stevens Institute of Technology.
