Guest experts from a variety of disciplines -- music, sociology, economics, history, CSRE, art, biology, theatre, etc. -- will discuss how researchers and practitioners in each of these disciplines would address these common issues.

ICIC 12000-03 Insight: Combining Expertise Topic – Mindfulness Tuesdays & Thursdays 4-5:15, Oct. 18 – Nov. 17 Instructors: Hormoz Movassaghi & Jason Hamilton CRN 24016 Description: Deeply rooted in Eastern philosophy of Buddhism, mindfulness, or total focus on one's mind, actions, and present moment has received widespread attention in recent years for its positive results and potentials across a wide spectrum of fields from neurosciences and psychology, to athletic performance and chronic pain management, to leadership and creativity, among others.
