This year marks the 30th year for the Marathon!
Every year, VIC Radio (vicradio.org) broadcasts its 50 Hour Marathon on 92 WICB (91.7 FM/wicb.org) and ICTV. This is the 30th year for the Marathon! It all begins on Friday, April 8th, at 4 PM and goes until Sunday, April 10th, at 6 PM.
50 Hour is VIC's way of giving back to the Ithaca community. Since 1987, VIC's DJs have stayed up for 50 Hours for this event. Over the years, tens of thousands of dollars have been raised for local non-profits. This year Chelsea Rance, Delaney DuBois, Yasmeen Mughal, and Lizzie Freilich are the DJs. Wish them good luck!
This year, VIC Radio supports Ithaca Underground, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to provide the people of Ithaca and the surrounding communities with an inclusive, all-ages environment for their do-it-yourself ambitions, ensuring that music and art is available to all.
