Ithaca College

Barney Beins (Psychology) was elected president of the New England Psychological Association (NEPA) and is on the executive committee for the Northeastern Conference for Teachers of Psychology (NECTOP), which precedes the annual NEPA convention.

He has also served on the NEPA Steering Committee since 2012. This committee is responsible for planning the annual convention of the organization. He created NECTOP in 1995; it met annually on the Ithaca College campus for four years before becoming a pre-conference meeting associated with NEPA in 2000.
