Barbara Ganzel, PhD, will be joining the Gerontology Institute as Director on May 16, 2016.

Dr. Ganzel has been associated with the Bronfenbrenner Center for Translational Research and the Department of Human Development at Cornell University since 1996 in a variety of capacities, most recently as PI and Director of a neuroimaging research laboratory; advisor to both undergraduate and graduate research students; and instructor of courses in neuroscience and human development.  Her current research focus is trauma-informed end-of-life care, and she recently re-specialized with a MSW in order to develop and administer clinical interventions within hospice and palliative care populations.
