Reminder: Retirement Reception for Peggy Termina, Faculty Information SpecialistContributed by MaryAnn Taylor on 05/10/16 Submitted on behalf of Provost Benjamin Rifkin Please join the Provost's Office in honoring Peggy Termina, Faculty Information Specialist in the Office of the Provost/VPEA, who will be retiring effective May 7, 2016. During her thirty-three year tenure at IC, she has had a number of responsibilities. Some of these include: coordinating the annual faculty reappointment process; creating and maintaining the official faculty personnel files; coordinating and managing the review processes for the All-College Faculty Tenure and Promotion Committee, the Faculty Personnel Appeals Committee and the Grievance Committee; overseeing and coordinating (all non-Board related) Convocation Day events; and serving on the Commencement Planning Committee. Peg served on numerous committees and task forces, was a member of the Ithaca College Toastmasters Club and Phi Kappa Phi where she served as treasurer, She has been a trusted and knowledgeable colleague to staff, faculty, and administrators. It should also be noted that during her tenure at Ithaca College, Peg enrolled in classes and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003. Please join us on Friday, May 13th from 4:00-5:30 p.m., in the Klingenstein Lounge for a reception to honor Peggy Termina for her years of service at Ithaca College. Light refreshments will be served. We will be accepting contributions toward a gift; if you are interested, please send your contribution to Karen Emnett, Peggy Ryan Williams Center 308 by Monday, May 9, 2016. Peggy Termina has defined IC at its best for me. I can't imagine the place without her. Best wishes for a long, enjoyable retirement--you've earned it, Peg.

Congratulations, Peg! We have worked together for many years, but I've most enjoyed singing with you in IC voICes! I will miss both your beautiful voice and working with you on all sorts of projects. Thanks for all you have given to Ithaca!

Peggy,
Not much to add to all the other kind words. I could always count on you to be there to answer a question or help me with a problem when I was the head(?) of the Art Dept. Great singing with you as well. Enjoy your new life & find out why all retirees say "When did I have time to work"?!
