Job Opportunity - Work with Ithaca College's Media Relations TeamContributed by Dan Verderosa on 05/02/16 The Office of Strategic Marketing and Communications is looking for a student to assist the media relations team with various projects during the 2016-2017 academic year. Duties include internet research, compiling information, preparing reports, formatting and disseminating student publicity announcements for hometown newspapers, verifying information, and daily news monitoring. Other duties as assigned. Qualified students may get the opportunity to write press releases for the college. Required Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills and dependability a must. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. Student must be able to pay close attention to detail. Writing experience is required. Online research experience a plus.
