Join the E-board for the HEARD Program. Become a part of something very unique!

Human Expression through Art: a Reciprocal Development Program is looking for e-board members! Learn more about the justice system, incarcerated youth, creative expression, and leadership.

HEARD is a volunteer organization that provides creative arts programming to incarcerated youth. The unique part of this experience is you witness first-hand the problems and lack of resources with the justice system and teenagers. Here's our website: heardprogram.webs.com

We collaborate with other student orgs and faculty and staff members to bring a variety of creative arts. This semester we've worked with IC Beatbox, Amani Gospel Singers, Spit That!, IC Cyphers, Professor Nick Walker, Dr. Whitehead and African Drumming and Dance.

We are looking for new people to join the e-board.

Since we are on a time crunch, applications will be open until Friday, May 6th at midnight and voting will be until Monday evening, and the new e-board will be announced next Tuesday, May 10th.  Anyone is welcome to apply for any position, or as many as you'd like. We are looking for dedicated people who really care about the program. This entire program runs off of the organization of the e-board and we need people who are very passionate. You don't have to have any experience. We'd love to teach you more.    Please contactheardprogram@gmail.com with any questions or concerns.    All positions are open for re-election: http://goo.gl/forms/MSdUT741vo  *Must already be a HEARD member   President*:
