John Bradac Accepts Position as Dean of Student Life at Tompkins Cortland Community CollegeContributed by Leslie D'Arcy on 05/22/16 Submitted on behalf of Gerard Turbide, Vice President for Enrollment Management After 27 years as Director of Career Services, John Bradac is retiring from Ithaca College. John has accepted a position at Tompkins Cortland Community College, and will begin his new role there as Dean of Student Life this summer. During his engagement with Ithaca College, John has counseled thousands of students, and had a lasting impact on our community. An active professional in his field, John has been recognized by the American College Personnel Association as an Outstanding Mentor for New Professionals, and received that organization’s Distinguished Service Award for his elected role on the Commission for Career Development. In 2013 the National Association of Colleges and Employers selected John to serve on the National Career Services Benchmarking Group. In his new role at TC3, John will oversee a broad range of offices including athletics, campus police, dining, multicultural services, residence life and housing, counseling, career and transfer services, and the health center. Please join us on Friday, May 27th in the Emerson Suites Lounge from 1pm-3pm to celebrate John Bradac’s service to Ithaca College and his new position.
