The network upgrades that were performed this week have been completed with a high degree of success! As a result of this week’s work we have made significant progress in modernizing our campus network infrastructure. We have replaced critical network hardware that was over 8 years old, and made a number of configuration changes to improve redundancy and availability. While a huge step forward, there is still work that is needed to further improve reliability and functionally of our network infrastructure for the campus. Pending no unforeseen circumstances, the remaining work planned for this summer will require less downtime and disruption. More details will be forthcoming.
