Submitted on behalf of Gerard Turbide, Vice President for Enrollment Management

Ithaca College is searching for a Chief Analytics Officer to provide leadership in expanding the college’s ability to assess strategy and improve performance through enhanced predictive analytical capability.  This is a reconfiguration of the Director of Institutional Research position, following the retirement last fall of Martha Gray.  To better reflect our emphasis on applying predictive analysis to inform decision making across the college, the Office of Institutional Research will be renamed the Office of Analytics and Research.

Our thanks to the following members of the campus community who will serve on the search committee:

Bri Alderman, Assistant Director of Admission

Chris Biehn, Vice President for Institutional Advancement (search committee chair)

Benjamin Costello, Director of Advancement Services

Leslie D’Arcy, Assistant to the Vice President for Enrollment Management

Ali Erkan, Associate Professor of Computer Science

Danette Johnson, Vice Provost

David Weil, Director for Engagement and Implementation

Campus visits by finalists are anticipated to occur this summer and the committee’s goal is to have the selected individual begin work at IC this fall.  Details about the position can be found here.

The search committee encourages members of the campus community to share the position description or nominate potential candidates for this position. Nominations should be directed to Kirra Franzese at kfranzese@ithaca.edu. All search committee work will be conducted in strict confidence to protect the integrity of the process.
