Apply to participate in one of this year’s Alternative Spring Break (ASB) trips!  ASB is an application-based program sponsored by the Office of Student Engagement and Multicultural Affairs (OSEMA) that provides students with service opportunities at one of five sites across the eastern United States.  All students are eligible to apply.

Our five trips include:

  • Park Preservation (Kiptopeke State Park, Virginia)
  • Youth Mentoring and Cultural Exploration (Seneca Nation of Indians Allegany Territory in Salamanca, NY)
  • Coastal Conservation (Outer Banks, NC)
  • Food Justice in the Urban Environment (Washington, DC)
  • Fighting Poverty, Creating Opportunity (Detroit, MI)

 

Applications received by Friday, November 25, at 5:00pm will receive first priority selection. All applications received after this time will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the trip is full.

Participant-leaders must apply by Friday, November 11, at 5:00pm in order to be considered for the opportunity.
