Dear Faculty and Staff of the Ithaca College Community,

The Office of International Programs and Extended Studies sends you greetings and best wishes for the new academic year. Summer has flown and the last session of orientation is upon us.

For the last several years, the College has been considering the implementation of an international travel registry. As you may know, we want to increase  opportunities for students to have an international experience, whether that experience is tied to the curriculum, community service, or internships. Even as we encourage you to support semester-long study abroad for our students, we also ask you to develop short-term travel experiences offered during the Winter, May, and Summer Sessions so that more of our students may have reasonable access to an overseas experience. In so doing, we acknowledge that world events are unpredictable and that a heightened sense of awareness and understanding of the world in which we live is increasingly necessary. The health and well-being of Ithaca College faculty, staff, and students is an institutional priority, not only here on campus, but also while our community members are abroad. Therefore, an Ithaca College travel registry is warranted to advise us of where you are in case of an emergency and to aid us in communicating with you should you need assistance. Beginning with this new academic year, we ask you please to register your work-related or institutional international travel at the following link https://www.ithaca.edu/oip/faculty_staff/travel_reg/

We hope for your cooperation and thank you for all you do to advance international education at Ithaca College.
