Digital Instruction and Information Services (DIIS) is excited to announce that Geneva Faraci joins the Teaching and Learning with Technology (TLT) team as a Distributed Learning Technologist.

Her role provides support and consulting on teaching and learning technologies and services including effective use of technology in academic computer labs and classrooms. Geneva will also assist supporting the academic community with applications and services like IC’s learning management and ePortfolio systems, clickers, digital media, and Lynda.com. We encourage faculty to continue contacting the Service Desk, 4-1000, for any urgent support needs. For scheduled assistance, Geneva can be contacted at gfaraci1@ithaca.edu.

“I am delighted to have Geneva as part of our team. Geneva brings her previous experience as an IC student and her experience as a student employee of DIIS to the position. Her positive demeanor and widespread knowledge of learning technologies will be of great value to our academe,” said Dr. Mark L. Fink, Director for Teaching and Learning with Technology.

Geneva Faraci ’16 graduated with a BA in anthropology and a minor in web programming. As a student, she worked with DIIS at the Service Desk for three years, and a student manager of the Service Desk her senior year.

Great news, Geneva, and I'm glad you're now a professional staff member at IC. You were my favorite DIIS student consultant and I look forward to working with you in the future.
