Digital Instruction and Information Services (DIIS) is pleased to introduce Service Desk regular extended support hours as of Sunday, August 21st. In an effort to better support the campus community with technology needs, the new hours are as follows:

  • Monday-Thursday, 8am-8pm
  • Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Sunday, Noon-8pm

The Service Desk, located in 104 Job Hall, is staffed during extended hours by a full-time DIIS employee, as well as by student analysts, and offers email, telephone, and walk-in support. Please note that dispatch service is not available during extended hours; any issues that cannot be resolved by the on-duty analysts will be entered into our ticketing system for follow up during normal business hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm).

Extended hours are offered throughout the academic year, and for Fall 2016 will end on Thursday, December 15th. Extended hours start and end dates will be announced prior to the start of each semester.

For walk-in service Monday-Thursday from 5-8pm, all building entrances in and around Job Hall should be accessible. On Sunday, please use the following entrances:

  • The Job Hall Link entrance on the "lake side" of the building, between the Peggy Ryan Williams and Park Center for Business buildings.
  • The two Textor Hall entrances (one facing the lake and one facing Whalen Center) closest to Friends Hall.
