The Shared Governance Task Force is working diligently on a proposal to institute a model of shared governance at Ithaca College. The task force has already met twice since the start of the semester, and is working to complete a draft of a proposed shared governance charter for the college to be shared with the campus.
Once all components of the shared governance proposal draft are complete, the task force will develop a “roll-out” plan to gather feedback from the campus community. The task force plans to present a final shared governance proposal, incorporating campus feedback, to the Ithaca College Board of Trustees in time for their March, 2017 meeting.
