Studying and Performing Abroad - How Training in Non-traditional Approaches Can Benefit Your Performance CareerContributed by John Fracchia on 09/16/16 Career Services and the Theatre Department are pleased to welcome Mr. Bob Shyrock from the Accademia dell'Arte to campus on Tuesday, September 20 to host an information session called, "Studying and Performing Abroad - How Training in Non-traditional Approaches Can Benefit Your Performance Career." The program will take place from 4:00-5:00 PM in Career Services (101 Muller). Students wishing to reserve a seat may do so through their Handshake account. In addition to his presentation, Mr. Shyrock will be available in the Dillingham Cafe during the noon hour to speak with students about opportunities through the Accademia dell'Arte. About The Accademia dell'Arte: Located in the hills overlooking Arezzo, Italy, the Accademia dell'Arte offers study abroad programs for undergraduates in the performing arts. In addition to semester-long programs in physical theatre, dance and music, the Accademia offers summer and winter intensive programs. The Accademia also offers a fully accredited two and a half year MFA degree program in Physical Theatre. Students in the MFA program spend time in Arezzo as well as with professional companies across Europe in Berlin, Torino and the Czech Republic.
