"Women and Sport in Modern China" presentation was part of the Health Promotion and Physical Education Speaker Series.

The School of Health Sciences and Human Performance recently hosted two professors from Peking University. Dong Jinxia, Director, and Zhang Rui, Deputy Director, from the Peking University Research Center for Gender Sports and Society, spent two days learning more about the fields of study within our school while providing HSHP with a better understanding of Peking University, one of the top universities in China. 

As part of the Department of Health Promotion and Physical Education Speaker Series, Professor Dong presented a lecture on Women and Sport in Modern China. The lecture attended by students, faculty and staff provided an interesting review of female Olympic athletes through the decades.
