My name is Tim Conners, and I am holding an event Wednesday night on campus at 6:30pm in Job 160 called the "MounTimPossible Meetup". There is a public event on Facebook for those who want to check it out or join, but it reads on that event as follows:

I will be speaking about my project to climb Kilimanjaro in May of 2017.  I will participate in IC commencement on Sunday and fly out to Africa on Monday.   I am embarking out to raise 500,000 dollars for organizations that have personally helped me get to the point where I am today despite cancer and blindness. Also, I will be talking about how if people want to follow me, think they could provide useful insight to the project, or just want to be involved with something huge like this or know someone who would how to get involved.
