Tuesday, October 18th from 8:00am through 12:00pm in Emerson Suites, Ithaca College will be holding our annual Point of Dispensing (POD) for all faculty, staff, and students to receive a free flu vaccination. The POD is an important part of the Ithaca College emergency preparedness plan, and tests our ability to deliver potentially lifesaving medication quickly and efficiently during an emergency or disaster incident that may pose a threat to public health. This is a very convenient opportunity for all Ithaca College community members to receive a free flu shot in a minimal amount of time. Participants are typically in and out of the POD in less than 5 minutes! Please feel free to come in anytime between 8:00am and 12:00pm. We want to thank everyone in advance as participation will allow us to evaluate our current plan and staffing levels and will help us to be better prepared to respond in the event of an actual emergency, when you will need us most!
