ICIC 12000-01 Insight: Combining Expertise Topic – Revelation and Revolution: Insights from Within and Without Tuesdays & Thursdays 4-5:15, January 24 – February 23 Instructors: Luke Keller & Chris Sinton CRN 42692 Description: How can we combine insights from experts across disciplines to address complex issues? How do we define and recognize insight? In this course we will explore multiple definitions of insight, revelation, and revolution. We will interview guest experts from a variety of disciplines and discuss with them how researchers and practitioners in each of their disciplines would understand and address a common issue. We will introduce techniques are to combine their insights and lead to deeper understanding and more powerful solutions.
