IC’s Food For Thought will be hosting it’s 10th Annual Walk for Plumpy’Nut on Sunday, October 23rd in Cass Park from 12:00pm - 2:00pm! Help us celebrate our 10th birthday and continue the fight against Childhood malnutrition! What is Plumpy’Nut? Plumpy’Nut is a therapeutic peanut butter paste that is used to help children overcome malnutrition all over the world. It is a nutrient rich and ready-to-eat bar that is unlike similar products that require refrigeration or water. 100% of the money donated this year will go to provide children in Ethiopia with plumpy’nut. How can you help? Come to the Walk for Plumpy’Nut on Sunday, October 23rd in Cass Park. The registration table will be open at 11:00 am and the walk begins at 12:00. We’ll be tie-dyeing this year's t-shirts (first 10 sign ups get a free tshirt!), offering awesome raffle prizes (see below) and providing FREE snacks and Lawn Games!
