Entries for the award were judged during the Spring 2016 semester (Kira Maddox, editor-in-chief; Evan Sobkowicz, managing editor/webmaster). Winners will be announced on Oct. 22 at the Fall National College Media Convention in Washington, D.C. The Ithacan has been named a national Online Pacemaker Finalist by the Associated Collegiate Press. The Pacemaker is ACP’s top honor, commonly referred to as “the Pulitzer Prize of collegiate journalism.”
