Knock Knock Give a Sock-sock donations for people facing homelessnessContributed by Abbe Lyons on 10/19/16 Bring new or gently used socks to Muller Chapel this week and celebrate Sock Shabbat Hillel and the Interfaith Council are partnering with Knock Knock Give a Sock, a college-started initiative dedicated to collecting socks for those in need-you can help! There are collection boxes in Muller Chapel, past Hillel's sukkah - a temporary shelter without a solid roof through which we can see the stars - but not be protected from the elements. For people facing homelessness, who don't even have that temporary shelter, socks are an important shelter for their feet. Knock Knock Give a Sock, a college-started initiative dedicated to collecting socks for those in need and getting communities to work together to help those who are experiencing homelessness http://www.knockknockgiveasock.org Bring socks anytime and feel free to join us for services as we celebrate Sukkot and Sock Shabbat, Friday October 21 at 6pm, Muller Chapel.
