On October 14-15, the Ithaca College School of Business hosted the 13th International Conference on Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management, and Organisational Learning, drawing scholars and practitioners from around the world to discuss key topics managing data, knowledge, and intelligence.

The conference featured over 60 presenters, including representatives from China, Malaysia, the Philippines, Morocco, South Africa, Russia, Chile, a number of European countries, and other locations around the world.  Featured keynotes were delivered by Christian Toft-Nielsen, Director of IBM's Business Performance Services Group, and Jay Liebowitz, Distinguished Professor of Applied Business & Finance at Harrisburg University of Science & Technology and former Chief Knowledge Officer at NASA's Goddard Space Center.  IC Assistant Professor of Management Narges Kasiri served as Mini-Track Chair for papers on Big Data, Business Intelligence, and Knowledge Management while Alison Shields and Lin Humphrey, Assistant Professors of Marketing, co-Chaired the PhD Track.

Thanks to Katy Hall, School of Business, Sara Elwell '16, and the Office of Campus Center and Events Services for planning and executing the conference logistics, as well as Dean Sean Reid for opening the conference.

The International Conference on Intellectual Capital, Knowledge Management and Organisational Learning was established 13 years ago. It has been held in Australia, USA, Thailand, Canada, South Africa, to mention only a few of the countries who have hosted it. ICICKM is generally attended by participants from more than 35 countries and attracts an interesting combination of academic scholars, practitioners and individuals who are engaged in various aspects of Intellectual Capital and Knowledge Management
