US FOREIGN POLICY: LOOKING BEYOND THE ELECTIONS! JOIN THE DISCUSSION ON THURSDAY NOV 3, AT 12 NOON, TEXTOR 103Contributed by Peyi Soyinka-Airewele on 11/02/16 Inviting students, staff and faculty to a short interactive discussion that seeks meaningful answers to some of the more complex foreign policy issues of the day. How will the US navigate the global landscape a year from now? What will be the shape of US relations with Russia, North Korea and Iran? How should the US address global terrorism? Should the US withdraw from some of its current trade agreements? Does China pose a threat to US economic growth? Is Europe a burden on the US? Should the US intervene in global humanitarian crises or focus on its own domestic needs? What immigration policy best serves the nation? Join participants from the Business School, History, Politics and other departments. Hosted by the Politics Department. Date: THURSDAY NOVEMBER 3, 2016. Time 12 NOON. VENUE: TEXTOR 103.
