The Cancer Experience- Elective being offered to all majors by Occupational Therapy department

This is a three-credit elective open to students in all majors in the spring semester.

The Cancer Experience (OTBS 21000) is a three-credit elective course offered through the Department of Occupational Therapy. Students from all majors and schools are welcome, especially those who have been personally affected by cancer.

The topic of cancer will be approached from a variety of perspectives: those of the patient, survivor, family member, health professional and others.  Through lectures, discussions, readings, and guest speakers, the student will learn about the different types of cancer, treatments, causes, history, current developments, cancer in other cultures and more.

The course will meet the Spring 2017 semester, Tuesday evenings from 6-8:50

For more information, contact Professor Laura Morse (lmorse@ithaca.edu).
