Ithaca College is starting a Study Abroad program in Cuba (pending final college approval) during Spring Break 2017 (March 11-19). Professor Lindsay Gilmour (Theatre Arts) and Professor Enrique González-Conty (Modern Languages and Literatures) will lead "Arts and Culture in Cuba."

Here's a brief description of the program: "The program, Arts and Culture in Cuba, will provide students an intimate look into Cuba in the midst of the current transition through the lens of art, music, dance, literature, and film, among other areas. Through local dancers, musicians, filmmakers and artist, students will gain first-hand knowledge of Cuban culture as well as their life experiences in a changing Cuba. The program would also be cross-disciplinary and we will be discussing how art and politics intersect and what role art has in the changing Cuba."
