Study Abroad in Cuba in 2017!!! APPLY NOW! Deadline approaching this Wed. Nov. 30thContributed by Enrique Gonzalez-Conty on 11/27/16 Ithaca College is starting a Study Abroad program in Cuba (pending final college approval) during Spring Break 2017 (March 11-19). Professor Lindsay Gilmour (Theatre Arts) and Professor Enrique González-Conty (Modern Languages and Literatures) will lead "Arts and Culture in Cuba." Please feel free to write to us, Prof. Gilmour at lgilmour@ithaca.edu or Prof. González-Conty at egonzalezconty@ithaca.edu, if you would like more information (including images!) about the Cuban program, the schedule, costs, etc. To apply to the program please find the application online here: Cuba Here's a brief description of the program: "The program, Arts and Culture in Cuba, will provide students an intimate look into Cuba in the midst of the current transition through the lens of art, music, dance, literature, and film, among other areas. Through local dancers, musicians, filmmakers and artist, students will gain first-hand knowledge of Cuban culture as well as their life experiences in a changing Cuba. The program would also be cross-disciplinary and we will be discussing how art and politics intersect and what role art has in the changing Cuba."
