Provost Linda Petrosino announced today that Dr. Alicia Swords, Associate Professor of Sociology, has been named Director of the Honors Program. Dr. Swords has taught at Ithaca College since 2006 and focuses on global development, social movements, and social change. A graduate of Oberlin College with majors in environmental studies and politics, she earned her Ph.D. in development sociology from Cornell University.
